Vegetable Ragi Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Sprouted Ragi Cereal
  • 150 ml Warm water
  • 2 tbsp Steamed & mashed carrot / bottle gourd

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Steamer
  • Whisk
  • Feeding bowl

Method

  1. Steam vegetables Steam soft vegetables such as carrot or bottle gourd until very tender, then mash smooth.
  2. Cook the porridge Whisk the ragi cereal into warm water and simmer on low for 2 minutes.
  3. Combine & serve Stir the mashed vegetables through, warm for another minute, cool and serve.

Serving

Serve fresh and warm, mashed to a smooth texture for early eaters.

Storage

Best served fresh.
